Quo Vadis is honored to be a part of INTERZONE

New York City’s new festival dedicated to wild electronic sounds

INTERZONE is New York City’s new festival dedicated to wild electronic sounds, and is presented collaboratively by six enduring local curators: Confused House, Lost Soul Enterprises, Nothing Changes, Quo Vadis, Synthicide and Weird Science. INTERZONE traverses assorted mutations of techno, electro, industrial, wave, experimental and beyond; its aim is to connect the dots between a myriad of sonic experiences across a long weekend while fostering a creative dialogue among artists and attendees.

Bookended by opening and closing parties at Bossa Nova Civic Club in Bushwick, the core of the weekend centers around a group of venues in the Greenpoint neighborhood of Brooklyn. Daytime parties at Magick City give way to evening performances at St. Vitus and Brooklyn Bazaar, followed by club nights at Good Room. Each festival event is presented by one or two of our curators in a way that showcases their individual aesthetic, while contributing to the communal spirit of INTERZONE.

A curated program of video and sculpture installations will accompany the various events, as well as additional daytime programming on Saturday and Sunday consisting of panels, workshops and screenings at our Good Room IZ HQ. There’s a schedule of times and location place-holders on our website, and a full timetable with the other half of our lineup will come with the full announcement in a few weeks.

An extremely limited number of festival passes are now available at Passes include discounted admission to all of the ticketed shows, free entry to the daytime program, a handmade pass and other perks of varying levels of frivolity. Your purchase of a festival pass is an investment in independent music, and helps to make possible this and future editions of the festival.
